Quantum Touch
Founder Richard Gordon offers this technique as he believes the ability to heal is an inherent part of people’s essential nature.  Employing a very light touch on yourself or another, you can profoundly accelerate a body’s own healing response.  Learning Quantum Touch requires learning a few specific breathing techniques, body awareness meditations, and hand positions.  Similar to Reiki, but it does not require an attunement process.  Combined with it, however, it “turbocharges” the Reiki energy.  Easy to learn, and requires no previous training.  It combines seamlessly with numerous other techniques to enhance their effectiveness: massage, shiatsu, acupressure, cranial sacral, therapeutic touch, chiropractic care, physical therapy, and acupuncture. 

Reconnective Healing
Dr. Eric Pearl walked away from a successful chiropractic practice in Los Angeles to pursue healing work.  His first book of the same name is an entertaining introduction to the practice of healing.  He states that when someone facilitates healing energy in another, “you’re not just assisting one person’s healing – you’re helping usher in a transformation of a magnitude heretofore unknown”.  Asked if everyone has the ability to carry healing frequencies, he answers, “Yes.  Everyone can reach this level, but eyes are blind.  It is only a few who dare to open their eyes…and often those who do are blinded by what they see.”

Qi-Gong
All types of Qi-Gong (and there are hundreds of styles) are based on nurturing, balancing, and strengthening qi or vital energy.  This qi has a physical aspect and a spiritual aspect.  Qi-gong works on both of these levels, giving you two for the price of one!

Most people are introduced to qi-gong through a form or set of movements and visualizations taught by a specific teacher.  They then assume that all qi-gong is taught and practiced in this way.  The true essence or root of qi-gong is, of course, much more than doing forms or breathing exercises.  It is an attitude toward life and our own energetic systems.  It is an approach toward healthcare and personal lifestyle.  It is a way to connect with the very deepest strata of being, down where we all have our origin, the very source of life, sometimes called Tao.

Dr. Michael Newton, Journey of Souls(St. Paul, Llewellyn Publications, 1994).

Why are you here on Earth? Where will you go after death? What will happen to you when you get there?
